Thistle started off as a beating dog for her first two years working and has now switched over to being a valued member of my picking up team, working on large commercial shoots several times a week.

She has an incredible nose for finding game and is always the one bringing back the last bird of the day. She's a little pocket rocket with bags of stamina and will hunt all day.

She has the sweetest temperament, loves to train and work but equally loves to stay under the duvet for a lazy day so has that all important off switch.

Thistle has undertaken film set work and starred in Jilly Coopers 'Rivals' on Disney+

Nettle, My first home bred!

She is exactly what i wanted when i decided to pair Thistle and Moose together. 

She is an absolute joy to train and throws herself into every aspect of work, from hunting to retrieving. This season she has been joining the team picking up and has surpassed all expectations. She handles all game confidently, remains steady, and hunts independently.
